The Sommets du cinéma d’animation is an international festival dedicated to animation in all its forms, from heritage films to new media by way of current production. Prends ça court! is not only a key player in the dissemination and promotion of short films, but is also a reference throughout the world for his involvement with young talents. For 17 years, it has established itself as the organization that awards the most important prizes in the field of short films. Every year, Prends ça court! contributes to the presentation of short films at numerous festivals in Canada and in more than 60 countries around the world.

La Pastèque is a Quebec publishing house founded in 1998 by Frédéric Gauthier and Martin Brault and aims to offer a support of expression to Quebec illustrators and screenwriters who wish to launch their comic strips, to gather the works of authors from different countries and from different horizons, and to promote Quebec comics. Chromatic

Founded in 2009 by MASSIVart, Chromatic is first and foremost a creator of cultural experiences. Whether visual, sound-based or digital, the organization celebrates art in its multiple forms by letting users interpret them according to their own sensitivities. All year, the team deploys a series of events that feature local and international talents in order to let the public discover or re-discover new artistic practices. Each spring, the excitement culminates into a multidisciplinary festival where over fifty artists and creators exhibit their work to the public.

Quartier des spectacles

With a history stretching back more than 100 years, the Quartier des spectacles neighbourhood has always been a popular cultural and entertainment destination in Montreal. In 2003, the Quartier’s purpose was officially defined with the creation of the Quartier des spectacles Partnership. The Quartier acquired its own visual identity and a shared vision: Live, Learn, Create and Entertain Downtown. In the autumn 2017, The Quartier des Spectacles presents a new experience highlighting the new forms of temporary public art and permanent art work of the Quartier. The event features more than 20 original pieces and permanent art work, in the visual arts, digital arts, design and architecture, to be displayed outdoors on building walls, in public squares and at several unconventional sites within the Quartier des Spectacles.

CinéVue

CinéVue is an event aimed at linking the cinema and the many attractions of the memphremagog region and its spaces. It aims to be a unifying time metting where films are presented and commented by the directors and actors who come to interact with the public. The programming is divided into 2 parts: one part of the programming is dedicated to Quebec cinema while the other focuses on a foreign cinematography.
